FAB ACADEMY PARIS
Coordinated by Aldo Sollazzo of Noumena,
the Fab Academy Paris will start next year !
The Fab Academy is a Digital Fabrication Program directed by Neil Gershenfeld of MIT’s Center For Bits and Atoms and based on MIT’s rapid prototyping course: How to Make (Almost) Anything. The Fab Academy began as an outreach project from the CBA, and has since spread to Fab Labs around the world. The program provides advanced digital fabrication instruction for students through an unique, hands-on curriculum and access to technological tools and resources.
And now, we tought it was time for Paris to join this incredible network and we decided to do it using the same model ! Fab Academy Paris is a collaborative project between WOMA and VOLUMES, two spaces fully equipped with all machines and already incredibly active in the Parisian scenario.
Our two labs joined their forces, doubling the offer of spaces, machines and collaborators, provinding the best conditions to follow the Fab Academy course.
